Postdoc in Plant Molecular Genetics, 1022748

A full-time position as postdoc in Plant Molecular Genetics is available at the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Aarhus University, Denmark. The position is for a two-year period starting from April 1st 2019.

The postdoc will be part of a research group working on genetics of Plant-Microbe interactions in the model legume Lotus japonicus and barley. The project will focus on regulation of nodule organogenesis and hormone response pathways in barley. The postdoc is expected to continue the ongoing characterisation of hormone response pathways in barley. Training and experience with plant molecular biology, plant genetics, general molecular biology techniques, microscopy of plant tissues and plant transformation is expected.

Applicants must have a relevant Ph.D. and additional experience from postdoctoral employment is an advantage.

Application procedure
Shortlisting is used. This means that after the deadline for applications – and with the assistance from the assessment committee chairman, and the appointment committee if necessary, – the head of department selects the candidates to be evaluated.
