The MSc Programme Games seeks a part-time lecturer who can co-teach and assist in planning the 3rd semester course ‘Graphics Programming’ in English during the autumn 2019.

A requirement for the position is that the candidate as a minimum holds a Candidate-/MSc-degree within a relevant field. • Gouraud and Phong shading
  • texture mapping and bump mapping
In addition, the student will be supervised in the acquisition of specialised knowledge in the graphics-programming area of their choice. Example topics might include:
  • parameterised surfaces
  • physical simulation
  • particle systems
  • voxel rendering
While the course has been taught using WebGL and JavaScript in the past, the programming language can be chosen by the teacher.
Teaching this course requires solid knowledge in computer graphics, mathematics, and programming. The applicant must document professional and/or research experience within the area. Moreover, the applicant must document required language skills in oral and written English.

The appointed person will be part of the Department of Digital Design.

The hiring will be for a period of 1 to 3 years starting 15 August 2019 or as soon as possible hereafter.
